This original oil painting is called 'Guest House'.
This painting was inspired by the idea of pure isolation within the magnificent beauty of a storm. The storm is transforming above the landscape into this uncontrollable unruly loud fury. In this guest house there is a quiet peace and that will soon start to echo through the land keeping a gentle balance of what is now and what is to come.
This painting was purposely painted on a small canvas as I wanted to make my little story come alive and somehow seem big but on a small scale.
