This painting is called 'Golden Fields', I absolutely loved painting this piece! When I first sat down in front of this blank canvas due to the emotions I was feeling at the time I new I wanted to start off by using very dark blue at the base of the clouds and then slowly work my way up creating a little more light but also trying to keep an ominous feeling. I have also always wanted to paint something with a corn field so I thought this would work perfectly and I love how the colours compliment each other.
